Hmm... what a pity it's Sunday already. The weather was beautiful this weekend.


dreda has always been fun to sing with, but she also makes a good musical director. Today was our little quartet's (including katkt) last appearence for the i Sebastiani intermezzi. She picked lovely music and somehow got it to be in all our ranges (which were remarkably overlapping as we include a high tenor, alto II, alto I and a mezzo soprano). Amusingly enough, I really enjoyed the performances and I'm kind of sad I'm not involved with the musical performances for the 2nd week of the show. I used to avoid formal performances like the plague, but apparently they're okay now. :) Yay!

On the otherhand, it will be nice to have a more normal schedule this coming week. ;)

Last night's i Sebastiani show was inspired. They started out strong and just got better. When a member of the audience popped up and provided the hungry character with a hot dog (during one of his bits about not having eaten days) and the troupe just ran with it. I laughed so hard I was afraid I would hurt this morning. (I did find my voice a little wonky in part of my range today, actually, but my sides were not sore.) The audience was small last night, but we all laughed so loud that they heard us in the lobby next door.


It occurs to me that I really should do laundry tonight but I'm avoiding it. I'll probably run through a bunch tomorrow evening instead. I think my productivity for the evening is shot since the gray cat has decided to place himself in my lap, pushing the laptop off to the side. Good kitty. =)
